How many foreign national offenders are returned from the UK, by nationality?
Available An official publication answers the question directly. Where it is not yet on this site, the entry says so.
Why
The Home Office returns datasets include a foreign national offender return type in Ret_D01 and dedicated tables Ret_D03 (foreign national offender returns by nationality and destination group) and Ret_D04, quarterly; the year ending March 2026 chapter reports 5,858 such returns, the highest since 2017. Offence and sentence breakdowns are published separately as official statistics in development.
