How many religious hate crimes are recorded, by the religion targeted?

Why

The Home Office "Hate crime, England and Wales, year ending March 2025" (published 9 October 2025) publishes religious hate crimes by perceived targeted religion (Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, other, no religion, unknown) for England and Wales excluding the Metropolitan Police, with rates per 10,000 population, and monthly counts of Jewish- and Muslim-targeted offences for 35 forces. The Metropolitan Police is excluded from the targeted-religion tables for that year because of its February 2024 recording-system migration, and the bulletin states that police-recorded hate crime does not provide reliable trends.

Privacy and disclosure restrictions

Percentage changes are suppressed where the base is under 50 offences. Targeted religion was completed for 98% of religious hate crimes.
