What this measures
Crown Court open cases at the end of the quarter split by case type as received into the Crown Court. "All trials" is the sum of triable-either-way and indictable-only trials.
Cases at magistrates' courts, or the time each case has been open; case types are as recorded at receipt and most "for trial" cases end in a guilty plea rather than a trial.
