England only. Academic years run September to August and are stored as the year ending 31 August. Absence, SEN and class-size figures are school-census counts; Attainment 8 is the average score of pupils at the end of key stage 4; apprenticeship starts are for the academic year; the NEET estimate comes from the Labour Force Survey and carries a sampling margin.
